Ok... Since the news refuses to tell it like it is... I have developed this now weekly journal to stimulate young minds and explain what is REALLY happening this week... And obviously sick sad world is the first step to telling it how it is...

1. We will probably all be blown up in the not too distant future by Korea who is now as we all know nuclear... But who sold them Uranium? And why don't we talk about that at all?

2. Australia's Miss Universe (LOL) May have her title suspended! YE GODS WHAT THE HELL WILL WE DO IF THAT HAPPENS... Since we have NOTHING else to worry about... (note this comment may contain traces of bitter sarcasm)

3. The Chaser have been suspended for 2 weeks because of a skit which aired on the ABC... hence one of the ABC's top people was fired... Be prepared for a major softening of chaser skits from now on...

4. The Aust. Govt. is now publicising results of schools in national tests... this means that any school which has a large population of children with special needs will have a lower average and may not get the funding it requires. Also, this means we may have an influx in people who decide to teach to the test and not to the benefit of the children.

5. Swine flu has still failed to shut the schools in NSW. The WHO has declared it a pandemic and yet we are still going to school... THE WORLD IS SERIOUSlY SICK AND NO BODY CARES ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE STUDENTS!!!!

6. Australia was knocked out of the 20/20 world cup... I will not elaborate for fear of my life...

7. Australia is through in the football world cup!!!1 YAY SOCCEROOS!!!!

8. According to channel 9, the Queen has her own veggie patch... this does not require comment *shakes head*

9. The U.K is about to unveil an Israeli was inquiry, just as more Israeli air strikes destroy Gaza supply tunnels... This inquiry will probably just make a lot of hot air... What can we really do when the world is worrying about so many other things...

10. Climate Change is again on the backburner after the latest news from the G8 about the financial situation in the world... I think the Governments of the world seriously need to prioritise... I mean who cares about the global economic climate if we're all dead because of climate change...?

11.Pakistan is once again threatening to fight against the Taliban... More fighting... Will it solve anything?

A final recap... We are all doomed... Lets change it... Sorry to disappoint those who thought this would be a funny broadcast... Lets see if it improves next week in our sick sad world...
